What a wedding costs at Whiskey Mansion Ranch depends on the date (summer weekends are not January weekdays), the guest count (75 guests is not 300), and which pieces of the full-service package you keep or remove. A single number on a webpage would be a fiction — and it would probably be the wrong fiction in the wrong direction.
Instead, we send a written, itemized quote within 48 hours of your inquiry. It is valid for 60 days. If the number isn't right for your budget, we'll tell you that honestly and help you figure out what is. You should never be surprised by what your day on the ranch costs.
The grand barn seats up to 300 guests for the reception. The hilltop outdoor ceremony sites accommodate the same. If you're planning a larger celebration, let us know early and we'll walk through the logistics together.

Yes, on the venue-only package. Caterers must come from our approved vendor list (a health and safety requirement, not a sales policy). All other vendors — your photographer, DJ, florist — are welcome with a brief vendor agreement on file 30 days before the event.
The grand barn is your weather backup — 4,800 sq ft, climate-controlled, and built for exactly this scenario. The indoor backup is included in every package. We decide together by 10 a.m. the morning of your wedding, and the team can execute the full indoor flip in under 15 minutes. You will spend zero time worrying about radar apps.
About 60 minutes south on US-71 from Kansas City. Butler is a straightforward drive — no complicated directions once you're on the highway. We send a detailed driving guide with your confirmation, including the last-mile turn from the county road onto the property.
Not on the ranch itself. Butler has lodging options in town, and Kansas City — 60 minutes north — has a full range of hotel blocks for larger guest parties. We share a recommended lodging list with couples after their tour.
A retainer holds your date. The remaining balance is split into two payments — one at the six-month mark and one 30 days before the event. Full details are included in your written quote and the venue contract. We never ask for the full balance up front.
Peak season dates (May through October, Saturdays) book 12 to 18 months in advance. Weekday and off-season dates have more flexibility. If you have a specific date in mind, reach out as early as possible — we can tell you availability within a few hours.
